More than words—the visual component

Where our messaging and storytelling are the literal voice of UC Davis, the visual program, which includes our fonts, colors, marks and visual style, ensures that our nonverbal communication is consistent with our words. Disciplined execution of the visual identity lends credibility and authenticity to our communications.

Chancellor Gary S. May called for clear, approved university signage and branding in a 2017 memo, noting that adoption of a consistent identity reminds our audiences "about what we do, our reach, and our impact."
